This project could not have been accomplished without the generosity of so many people and organizations that poured out financial resources, time, and other forms of support. First of all, we want to acknowledge Citizenship & Immigration Canada for launching such funding for Chinese Canadians to recover their heritage and made them available to the larger public through the Community Historical Recognition Program which this project falls under.
Special thanks to Carey Theological College for encouraging and supporting their faculty member, the Revd. Dr. Joyce Chan, Associate Professor of Church History & Director of North American Chinese Ministries Program, to participate as the Project Director, in coordinating all the data collection, organization, analysis and the writing of the essays. Thanks to Chinese Christian Mission of Canada, for offering administrative support through the leadership of the Interim Executive Director, Angela Kan and venue for the exhibition to be held.

We are deeply grateful to our team of volunteers – Mona Mah for the English text editing; Carol Wong, Ling-Chuen Leung, Ruth Ho & Teresa Chin for the Chinese translation, Grace Tse for correcting edited texts in computer files. Special thanks to CCM staffs: Winnie Lam for proofreading, and Daniel Chan, graphic designer who endured throughout the tedious revision process. These volunteers and staff gave their time and expertise generously to see both the publication and the exhibition of the project completed professionally.
Last but not least, we want to thank our heavenly Father for opening the door of the Gospel for so many Chinese to know Christ through coming to Canada, and for protecting, nurturing, and guiding the path of so many generations of Chinese Canadian Christians to become shining light in the Canadian society and beyond. By knowing our heritage, may Chinese Canadian Christians be continuously encouraged to be faithful witnesses in the generations to come. This project is only a beginning and we worked with limited resources for this project. We hope that churches and individuals will join us in this effort in preserving and proclaiming the story of God working among Chinese Canadian Christians and churches.
